About the university

It is considered the first university campus established outside the Turkish state, and it was established in the Gozlyurt area of the Republic of Northern Cyprus in 2000.

The university provides its educational services through 15 educational programs for bachelor’s degrees, and 5 educational programs for graduate studies.

Campus

– Since its founding, the University of Northern Cyprus campus has received numerous awards in recognition of its architecture. Set in an extensive green environment, it combines a peaceful living environment, rich in the aesthetic qualities of its landscape, with state-of-the-art learning, teaching and research facilities. . Conveniently located 5 km from the town of Güzelyurt, the Campus is adjacent to a valley filled with citrus orchards that extends up to the Trodos Mountains in southern Cyprus.

– Connected to the local community, the campus hosts a variety of events in the Culture and Conference Center using the full range of facilities within its modern structure.

The campus has the ability to provide immediate access to all facilities and resources necessary for a high-quality research environment, including laboratories equipped with the latest technology; A library affiliated with the METU University Ankara Campus Library, and a rich and diverse collection of electronic and online databases provided by the library.
