About the university

The University of Kyrenia was established in 2013 in Kyrenia, one of the most beautiful historical cities in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and is considered the first university to specialize in the field of maritime studies.

It includes 14 colleges: (College of Marine Sciences, College of Marine Studies, College of Maritime Administration, College of Dentistry, College of Education, College of Pharmacy, College of Law, College of Aviation and Space Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Architecture, College of Health Sciences, College of Economics and Administrative Sciences, College of Medicine, College of Engineering) and a number of vocational schools (Naval Vocational School, Vocational School of Justice, Vocational School for Health Services, Vocational Aviation School, Vocational School for Technical Sciences, Vocational School for Foreign Languages).

Also theUniversity of KyreniaHigh experience in academic education according to international standards, and containing internationally recognized programs and training equipment that matches reality. It also includes a huge library whose doors are always open, carrying within it thousands of books, references, and research. On the recreational level, the university has an indoor swimming pool with Olympic standards.
