Istanbul Medipol University

Istanbul Medipol University is a private, non-profit university founded by the Minister of Health of Turkey in 2009 and headquartered in Istanbul.

Therefore, it is considered a new university and a prominent part of the cultural and educational advancement in Turkey in the last two decades.

The university enjoys a strategic central location as it is located in the Besiktas area overlooking the Bosphorus Strait, and it is a unique educational community as Medipol University ranked second in the “Increase in Patents” classification for the year 2021, as it obtained 37 patents in medical technologies of which 21 patents. in telecommunications and 4 patents in cybersecurity.

The university includes 12 colleges, 5 educational institutes, and 4 advanced vocational colleges, and includes international students from more than 63 different nationalities around the world.

The university has what is called the International School of Medicine (ISM). This school makes great efforts to attract medical students from inside and outside Turkey, and conducting medical research tops its list of priorities.

Campus

The campus at Istanbul Medipol University goes beyond being just a place to receive education, to being a university hospital complex where students receive training and qualification for the labor market. This campus is considered an important investment for Turkey in the medical field, if not the most important!

The campus consists of four separate departments, and is one of the hospitals with the largest medical branches in all of Turkey, including a general training hospital, oncology, cardiac surgery, and dentistry.

The campus also includes physical therapy, nursery, and health care management departments dedicated to undergraduate students. Students from the Vocational School of Health Services receive intensive training at this campus, while students in medical specialties train in clinics equipped with the latest educational and technical equipment.
