About the university
Başkent University was founded in the Turkish capital, Ankara, in 1994. Today it has become one of the most prominent institutions of higher education in Turkey. The university includes 11 colleges, 7 institutes, 6 vocational schools, and a foreign languages school. In addition to about 13 research centers.
The university aims to raise the level of students in education and training so that they attain the global knowledge required in the information age, and have the necessary skills to use this information and expertise in the fields of health, education, humanities, law, communications, arts, environment, industry and trade.

Başkent University includes 3 modern and advanced university campuses, which in turn include, in addition to the educational edifice for study and research, many important facilities.
