Altınbash Private University is one of the modern universities in Turkey. It was founded in 2008 and began receiving its students in 2011.
The university has shown great progress in a very short period of time, and has obtained many patents, so that today it includes more than 13,000 students from 88 different countries.
It was initially called Istanbul Kemerburgaz University, then its name was changed to Altinbaş University in 2017 by the Mehmet Altinbaş Educational Foundation.

Campus
Altinbas University consists of 3 campuses, the first of which was established in the Bahçelievler district on the European side of Istanbul.
- Mahmud Bey Campus
This campus was not designed for educational life only, but also to enrich social life through sports and cultural activities for students.
The Mahmut Bey campus contains many facilities for holding international conferences and meetings with professionals, as well as concerts, festivals and exhibitions.
- Bakırköy Campus
The campus is located in an important strategic point in Bakirkoy, where the city center is located among shops, shopping centers and restaurants.
Bakirkoy Campus is the largest health sciences campus in Turkey among the constituent universities, as it contains the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry in addition to the Dental Training Hospital.
- Gayrettepe Campus
Located in the heart of Istanbul city centre, this campus is the center of the Faculty of Management, Fine Arts, Law and Applied Sciences and the Graduate School of Social Sciences.

The university campus contains 9 colleges, led by the medical group colleges, which include the specializations of human medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy, and include 74 specializations in addition to 3 institutes.

This college is considered one of the best 85 medical colleges in the country, and its plastic surgery department is also one of the top 50 departments in Turkey, and one of the top 1000 plastic surgery departments in the world.
- College of Engineering.
One of the active colleges at the local and international levels in various fields, it is the 106th university among the best teaching staff in Turkey, and among the highest-ranking colleges in Asia.
- Computer Science.

Altinbas University offers 12 undergraduate and 58 master’s programs in its faculties, in addition to 14 doctoral programs, and all of its programs are considered appropriate to achieve students’ goals.
