About the university

Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University (CHSSU) was established in 2016 in the Gozalyurt area which is one of the most beautiful areas in Turkish Northern Cyprus. The university began its educational and training activities through two colleges, a higher education institute, and one vocational school, in addition to an English and Turkish language school. The university is accredited by the Higher Education Council of Türkiye.

The Cyprus University of Health and Social Sciences plans and implements various training programs for the professional and personal development of its employees, with the aim of developing their creative sense, to provide high-quality academic education to all students at the university. The university also includes various health and social sciences specializations, which include: dentistry, nutrition and dietetics, physical therapy and rehabilitation, psychology and social service.

• The Cyprus University of Health Sciences relies on the English language in addition to the Turkish language and has prepared for its students an English language preparatory school through which they develop their language skills and ensure their interaction with international educational and training activities.
• Students of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Cyprus University of Health Sciences undergo therapeutic training in simulation clinics with dolls and artificial tools before beginning clinical treatment on real patients, to develop their manual skills and gain flexibility that qualifies them to treat patients.
